Novo Nordisk Partners with WeightWatchers After Hims & Hers Fallout

Danish pharmaceutical giant Novo Nordisk has forged a new partnership with WeightWatchers to broaden access to its weight-loss drug Wegovy. The collaboration, set to begin July 1, will see WeightWatchers working with CenterWell Pharmacy to fulfill prescriptions. This MOVE follows Novo Nordisk's recent split from Hims & Hers, amid allegations of illegal sales of Wegovy copies and deceptive marketing practices by the telehealth platform.

Novo Nordisk is also introducing a $299 cash-offer price for Wegovy through July 31, targeting self-paying patients new to the savings offer or those who haven’t previously filled a prescription through Novocare.
